This week, on November 14, UCRWG hosted a final community conversation of 2016 at West Grand High School in Kremmling . Meeting in the high school library was a perfect setting for neighbors to connect and share knowledge with one another. 14 citizens participated in this meeting, but the smaller group allowed for more intimate conversations among tables and with the entire group. We were thrilled to have land owners, public servants, business owners, passionate citizens and even a West Grand student join in this meeting.
While Kremmling was the last community conversation for 2016, there will be other opportunities to be involved in developing a watershed plan for Grand County. The UCRWG team will take the remainder of this year to organize and analyze the notes and information we received at these meetings in order to present them back to the larger Grand County Community in early 2017.
